Hi, I’m Jonny - a paramedic, university lecturer, and founder of The Pracademics, a personal tutoring service supporting learners from GCSE through to postgraduate level.
The name comes from the idea of a pracademic, someone who bridges the gap between practical, hands-on experience and academic knowledge, and that’s exactly what we aim to do. Whether you're studying biology, healthcare sciences, or preparing for exams and clinical placements, we help make your learning meaningful, practical, and focused on your goals.
My own qualifications include an MSc in Emergency Resuscitation Medicine, PgCert in Higher Education, Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy, and I'm an instructor in both adult and paediatric advanced life support with Resuscitation Council UK. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with many like-minded and ambitious healthcare professionals, and together we’re building a network of expert tutors ready to support learners of all backgrounds and needs.
